Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

Was the board you used a Rev. A or B board? If you have a regulator board that you can remove, try switching it with another. I've heard somewhere that changing out the PSU will fix no sound issues, but I can't remember where.

Yes, this seems a bit small. How exactly would you fit everything in there? The optical drive and batteries, lcd, controller, memory card, switches, etc would be huge. Not to mention heatsinking.

I know you've been working on your Gamecube for a long time, Nintendott, but if it's not working out for you, I would suggest switching to something a bit simpler for the time being. You're a nintendo fan, do a NES or SNES. They're simple to wire, and will easily fit in a lot of pre made enclosures.

Sorry for your loss.

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

How did you do that paint job? Also your bondo skillz are impressive.

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

Is the d-pad like that for comfort?

Case looks sweet.

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

But will any of us ever be ablet to mod that well any time soon?

I would like to ask though, are there any other problems in getting the gamecube into a ZN-45, Nintendott? Like, other than the sound not working, is everything actually able to fit well?

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

Nice work man! Would 27 bucks help you out? Its been sitting in my paypal for a while now. Seriously, you should not let this go.

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP!

Sure it would. If there is a gamecube on ebay for 27 bucks. But still You guys are not suppose to pay for my mistakes and f***-ups.
But thanks anyway.

It was night and I was very tired when I wrote this. If I got the energy sometime, maby will try again. (I haz hardnez letting this project go)

The paint job is paint that has been added a billion layers until it gained 6 ounces of weight. Srsly the paint made it a lot heavier.
Then I spray- painted the whole case red and sprayed it with black paint 2 minutes after the red paint had started to dry.
When the red paint is drying, its contracting and the black paint that is the top layer started to make cracks.
You can see the cracks developing pretty fast.

THANKS FOR ALL THE POSITIVE AN SUPPORTING COMMENTS!

Re: Nintendott's gamecube portable. I GIVE UP! (maby not)

How many layers do you think it was. 6oz is a lot of spray paint.
