Nintendo DS Lite Not Charging or turning on!!

Hey, i recently have gotten a DS Lite from a friend that does'nt want it anymore. So anyway, the problem is that when i plug the charger in, the orange light turns on for about one second and turns off, and the battery does not even turn on. So, i was wondering if any of you other members have experienced or fixed this problem. Is it maybe a fuse problem or something? Just wanted to know.

Most likely the battery is toast.

Yeah but I have switched the battery with another one but it still does the same thing.

Wow, > 3 posts, no correct answers.

If the lights turn on *at all*, it's the fuses. Look for F1 and F2 on the board, and replace them. For now, just bridge them with solder.
