Actually, the canon batteries come in 7.4v 2000mah packs. They'll work, but only for about an hour and a half, if that.

bp915's are 7.4v? Tried checking before posting to make sure, but every online store assumes people are idiots and doesn't include a voltage. However, in retrospect, a lady did ask me how to turn the ringer on on her cell phone today in the post office.

so my cannon bp 915 will work? i saw the pic on amazon for the maximal power and it said 2200 mah and 7.4 volts.

go or no go? but i think it's a go.

i wired my battery to the pth08080

ok thanks. :) by the way i am going to try to get more done tonight.

UPDATE:

I soldered 3.3 wire to n64 mobo but the diagram is confusing should i wire ground and power to the PTH08080 or the battery itself?

3.3V power to the regulator, 12V power to the battery. Ground doesn't matter as long as all three devices are hooked together.

It took me a while to figure out. The regulator is actually only a bit behind the battery- NOT on the table as it seems. Optical illusion is illusive.

Don't bump your own topic unless it's with an update. It's pointless.
