Will this battery work for a portable, and more importantly how do I install it?

Hello all, I'm new to the forums, and am wanting to make a Wii portable.

I have close to no knowledge with making a portable. The closest I have ever gotten to hardware with a wii is when the Disc Drive busted, and I had to replace it.

So I've been thinking and thinking, I can salvage a Laptop Monitor (Which I litterally just pulled out to start), Either use Gecko to play games or use the standard Wii as a case, and then install the battery which is where I'm a bit lost. (I am aware I'm a skrub)

The battery I'm looking at is this:

First off I know near to nothing about how I would power it, or even if that battery would work. (If it does could you tell me what battery life I should expect )

Alright. I guess what I'll try to do is use Butt Connectors (kek) with the battery port to the Wii since I have no experience with soldering at all, and see what happens. However I do know I'll have to learn as I plan on trimming a gamecube controller, and I'll have to solder the wires from there.

If anyone thinks this is a terrible idea, please tell me. I'm still new to all this.

Laptop LCD won't work unless you get a control board for it. Even then, it would probably be too big for a handheld.

Yeah I went through my struggles with an LCD Board. Don't recommend it if you're new to soldering at all. Plus, they make you buy their own power wire seperate (which is like 2 months in total for a wait).
I ended up getting a 3.4 inch screen that actually had RCA for a change.
