***MATERIALS FOR THE PORTABLE***
Console: N64 (FREE)
Controller: I have a nintendo one, may need a third-party one. (Free)
Screen($10)
2 Canon BP-30 Batteries($35)
Case:
Vacuum former (?)
plastic. ($?)
TOTAL PRICE: $45 out of $160
Not doing bad, I have $115 for the case, and possible mistakes... ;)

I'm just having trouble with, figuring how to charge the batteries. :(

With that budget, I wouldn't recommend vacuforming. You will probably fry at least one N64. You may need to buy tools and stuff. Plus vacuforming is just plain difficult. But if you can pull it off, all the power to you.

I have 3 extra nintendo 64's. What tools do I need to buy?
soldering iron CHECK!
Dremel CHECK!
Screwdrivers CHECK!
This n64 is open, just working on the case, and linking everything together. :)

Edit:probably should have pm'd him but too late now..
Bacteria,
I read your guide for battery packs in portables for li-ion, but am confused.
Could you clear this up?
It says to screw it into the recess, an i actually screwing into the battery? :neutral2:
