N64 Controller for standart joystick ?

Hi,

just a short question, can i use this : https://www.konsolenkost.de/n64-control ... a-9075330/ for my portable N64 ? I want to use a normal analog stick. Is it possible with this Controller ?

No.

Official n64 controller works with n64 official joystick.

third party controller works with any third party joystick.

I don't think it's a first party controller So i can pick any third party controller thats good

Actually, when you said "normal joystick" I thought you meant an official one, if you just want to use another joystick that is not an official one, you can.

I used these controller a few times and personnaly I don't like them because they are too big and the board broke once while trying to dremel through it, just my personal opinion!

I would use a Tommee n64 controller. They are really cheap on Newegg and the analog stick is reinforced with steel.

There's also a list of compatible controllers listed in the meg sticky I believe. The superpads are what I used in mine and had no problem using a 3ds slider with it ( if that's what you intend to use)
