Thats what I was thinking, he only had to solder 50 pins though . Man, that would have made my life easier.

That's how I did my first two, works so much easier! Too bad they don't make a Female to Male connector like that. Still have to solder 48 pins but wouldn't have to worry about stripping the ends and so forth.

50-pin IDE cable, look around ebay. You can get them pretty cheap...

That is all kinds of sexy. Also, they DO have connectors that fit close enough. Male 50 pin SCSI plug work, apparently. I read about this years ago on BH, but have never actually seen it done, so your mileage may vary.
