Intec Screen Voltage

so i was looking for a screen i i found my old gamecube intec screen and i plugged it into my n64 and put in a 7.4 v charger and it schowed a picture but it was wavy. Does anybody know why its doing this cause i used tons of chargers to see if it helped but 7.4 was the only one that brought picture and sound.

try 50Hz, mostly if you're PAL, can be as simpe as that

Pretty sure the intec screens needed 12v to work correctly, which is part of the reason no one used them (I think the picture was also inferior to the PSone screen).

When I give my screen a REALLY low voltage like 6.7v it gets really wavy. Try 9v.

My 1st gen intec GC screen and 2nd gen both worked with the QUAD 64 using its battery and A/V out.

No waves.
