have just realised i may not have fryed my n64 was just looking at the How to do a cartridge slot relocation video on youtube ss did and the wires are soldered to the outside holes on the mouther board and i have gone and soldered them to the inside ones not retested it yet but hopefully it is all right and the n64p will be back on the cards.

Well thats not necessarily a bad thing. If it still works, you should be happy to regain a lost console. Even if you messed up.

and the n64 should be fine. the inner holes arent connected to anything.
