Yup. This is just an initial test to see how time consuming it is and if it is plausible, and it is both.

I used connectors like this pulled from an old PC. I think it's for the HDD.

Post-surgery. Mini-breadboard! Since I miscalculated the layout of the wires (there's a filled socket that is either pin 21 or 22 on every connector), I ended up with lots of dead spaces. However, I did get a very small workable space :awesome:

Nice. Not a bad use for all the IDE connectors I have left over from using IDE to wire everything.
 
Exactly. I think I'm going to use these to make a very awkward breadboard specifically for synths. Like, one block for each oscillator, a block for LFO, etc.
 
Sony, for the love of god don't bump old posts unless you have something constructive to add. This post was a full three months old.

See, this is what would have been appropriate:

Amp... why do this, when you could buy a breadboard for less than 15 bucks? And, you wouldn't have to worry about dead spaces.
