A little bit of progress. Wired up the controller and tested it, it works great. All i have to do is wire up 2 switches, VGA for breakout box, 2 power plugs, headphone jack... and... yeah, that's it.

Eh, not too much... Headphone jack is... 5 wires? that'll be wired up in a couple minutes, power plugs are 2 wires each, my "VGA" box only has 9 pins (so it's actually a serial port), and the switches have 6 pins. Should only take me one more night worth of work...
