some sexy casework. btw, its easier to wait on putting in the screen.

Oh and be different with this portable.

As in

like

finish the Dang thing

Thanks

I didn't know putting it on after was easier... when I cut the hole for the screen it was way off so I had to shove the screen in there and fill it with epoxy to make it smooth. (I did all the cutting and such in 2 hours)

And I will finish this... probably this weekend.

Oh, specs... Joystick is from a Maxfire Pandora. C buttons are a 4 way tact topped with a psp nub grip. Dpad is another 4 way tact but with center click start (that is, if I don't get my XOR and AND logic gates in time, which will have it so if either Z is pressed, then it's Z, but if both, then it is start)

EDIT: Why did I think I would have it done that weekend?

Hidios, that's the same stick I'm using, it's awesome :). Also that tact switch with a psp stick cover on top is a great idea, I may have to steal your idea ;).

I saw, FierceDiety. I saw Frostener's post and your thread on the same day and bought it soon after.

And thanks, I wanted an analog C, but then noticed that it will look that way if I just use a PSP cap on it :D

I think I just jizzed in my pants at the case work.

Glad you like it. I just need to finish wiring the controller and the ports/switches and I'm done. Was playing it today (with the two halves still open) and it's quite fun. Screen looks great and I finally remember how fun Pokemon Snap is.
