Hi, recently me and my friend got the idea to build N64 portables for play in the upcoming school year and for vacations, etc.
Well, we've gotten parts together. He has his PSOne screen, and I'm getting mine tomorrow. We're still waiting for our step-downs from Texas Instruments to come in, and we have to get project boxes that we're using for our cases.
Now, what I can't figure out is a couple of things: One, what kind and voltage of battery should I use? Two, how do you hook the battery to the board on the N64 and PSOne screen?
It would be great if you could link me to a good battery and even better if I could get a diagram of how the battery hooks up/charges.
Also, what type of wire should we use and where should we get it from? Do we need a certain type/size for linking parts together such as the Game Slot to the board?
Another is, We want a wall power adapter. Is there a battery we can get where we can just charge + play at the same time, or do we NEED a separate port for wall power? If so, a diagram once again would be great.
Thanks for reading, and I would be happy with any help. Thank you!!!
