Of course the entire Beats line is overpriced. It's got the double whammy of having a celebrity endorsement and being manufactured by Monster, the masters of the $75 6' HDMI cable.

I've got some USB Logitech set. It's nice and lasted 2 years of general carelessness before the cable broke inside the strain relief so there's no sound unless you pinch the wire at a really acute angle. I took the thing apart but haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
