Gc without fan?

Hi, just wondering if it would be ok for the GC to have no fan, but still have the heatsink.
Are there any risks?

It will get way to hot. You need a fan.

Ya, i had my GameCube on for about as little as 10 minutes playing melee and it was starting to cook itself! lol. Anyway it just cut off.

Although you need a fan, it is possible to use a smaller fan (or maybe two smaller fans) as oppose to the normal fan which is big IMO. I am still testing smaller fans and will post my results in the future.

Yup. I have that exact fan/heatsink sitting on my desk waiting to be tested.
