GC Triggers

Hey guys,

i almost have my portable finished but the only thing i dont have is triggers (for the fact i have no idea how to)

can anyone help me figure out how to put decent triggers

What does your system look like?
There are several ways to do triggers. You can have have one button for each, two buttons for each, or the real analog trigger. Analog is preferred but it takes up more space, usually.

The most basic way you can do it is to connect tacts to where they were before and replace the analog sliders with a resistor and tact.

Here's a diagram of the slider pins on the official and most controllers:

In this setup, you'd have two buttons. One for a slight depress, and one for the full bottoming out. Some people have had luck in stacking them, but I just use 2 pairs of buttons. Hope that helps a little.
