gamecube heatsinks

I finished another gamecube. I first used the ibm zenloc heatsink but it got too hot and then i ran it off of 7.4v, but it was too loud. Today, I trimmed a stock gc heatsink and used one of those assus tchay fans and it's still getting hotter than normal(I think. I still don't know what normal heat feel like). Maybe I have bad ventilation or bad heatsinks? Help please?

Dang..... I was hoping that my GCp in a GBA carrying case would be the first one. Looks like you beat me to it.

Sorry I couldn't help...

The gc gets pretty hot. And i think it can get very hot before it damages anything, except if you have hot glue and batteries in there.

Is the fan blowing directly out? You could also add another fan. A 25mm or even a 10mm should fit right?

I'm adding a different fan in. I cut the fan hole and repainted it. It should be dry now so I'll see if it works.
