Gameboy Pocket with GBC insides

I've been trying to figure out ways to put the insides of a Gameboy Color into the body of a Gameboy Pocket. Stupid i know, but i just love to screen size and the shape of the Gameboy Pocket. Here's what i need help figuring out.

I am assuming the screen on the pocket can't do color, but i don't want to screen off the color because it's to tiny. So if anyone has any ideas, or if the pocket screen can do color and I'm just dumb lemmie know. I was thinking of using the screen from an SP but it is to big and widescreen.

Also if there's anything that will totally not work in the process lemmie know.

You'll be using the Gameboy Color LCD.

You ain't got much of a choice.

What if i was to get a new small lcd screen that would fit in the slot, would there be a way to wire it to the board? LIke if i stole the screen off of this, http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.34373
