[Gameboy Color]White leds in game cartridge slot

Is it possible to insert 2 white LED's in the gameboy color so that when the gameboy is turned on, the cartridge slot is illuminated?
I know it would be, but is there space on the bottom or on the sides of the slot for the LED's to fit.

Also, what available voltages are there on the motherboard, as 18v is a bit overkill. Was hoping to see if there was maybe 6v or 12v .

Where do i solder to, to get 3v? because i only want the LED'S to be on when the gameboy is turned on. Should i just tap into the power switch itself?

I was looking at using a couple of these

But i'm unsure what resistors i will need, or can i just run 3v straight through them?

Is it possible for somebody to supply me with a couple of images that show an empty gameboy color case, so i can plan where i want the LED's to be positioned. (back cover viewed from the inside)

You want VCC to solder to. In the lower-left of the PCB (on the front) or the lower-right of the PCB (on the back) is VCC; it's the topmost pin on the tiny little square labeled DC-DC.

You shouldn't need resistors.

That image you can supply yourself with your GBC. Or just look at it in real life.
