Free McBoot / Open Ps2 Loader - USB Drive type DOES Matter

Ok, sorry this is a second topic in a row, but I thought I would give my knowledge to others. So many people complain that Open PS2 Loader is slow. Well, the USB drive you use makes a HUGE difference for initial game load times, in-game load times, and ISO2OPL saving onto the drive.

From the drives I've used, PNY is currently the quickest drive I've used. Measuring transfer rates from CPU -> USB and USB -> OPL, the PNY drives have the fastest transfer rate among all mediums.
When playing KH2FM+ starting from turning the system on, to getting in game, the PNY drive took approximately 1min 52 seconds, and the Sandisk drive took approximately 2min 26 seconds. When going through load times (Which would be going to a different area) in KH2FM+, the PNY took a short 6 seconds! The Sandisk took about 15 seconds.

When using ISO2OPL, transferring the game Dark Cloud 2(~4.3GB) took about 7-9 minutes using the PNY drive. Transferring the same game but using the Sandisk drive took me 21 minutes! That's just to transfer the game on!

Many SanDisk drives are cheap right now (32GB for $10), but at the cost of speed. Very VERY slow transfer rates and long load times. PNY Drives at BestBuy are about $50 for a 32GB, but that comes with very VERY good load times. Honestly, I would say purchase PNY drives over Sandisk.
I did use another drive, which was a Corsair. I would not recommend this, because the transfer rates were only a little bit quicker than the Sandisk, but still far from as fast as the PNY.

*NOTE* The computer used to transfer ISOs or use ISO2OPL does make a difference as well, but for my testing, all tests were done on the same computer. I hope somebody finds this helpful!
