Filling gaps in cases - bondo, Polyfiller, etc

What I do is put a piece of tape over the front of the case, then put in the dpad/button piece from behind. Then, I fill the gap with epoxy.

Super strong, and the tape keeps the glue from going past flush with the front of the case, so it needs very little sanding.

Triton was teaching me on aim how to make abs cement which is supposedly the best thing you can make/buy to use as replacement for bondo.
