S SammehXD Newb Aug 30, 2012 #1 I'm attempting to make a Game Boy Advance sort of thing out of my old phat DS, and I'm just wondering if the DS will boot if I remove the DS card slot, so I can fit the top PCB in there with an LED hooked up to it.

J.D No Stranger To Love hi Sep 3, 2012 #8 iirc, some DS flashcard bios have a "bottom screen only" setting. You may as well should keep the SLOT-1, you can play around with emulators and stuff
