Controller Problems

Hi there all, basically I'm having a problem with my gamecube motherboard as it
doesn't pick up my controller for P1 and I've wired to this as I've done the AlmostWTFCut.

All I have going to the controller is: 3.3v, Data and Ground

Does anyone know why this is?

What controller are you using? Some 3rd party controllers require the 5v line.

I've been using the Classic Controller, It worked fine before when I wired it to the Max Motherboard Cut Relocation though

Sorry to triple post and bump this thread like a noob, but I just tested my controller and it works with my Wii but I'm puzzled with why it won't work with the cube. I'm using a PAL CPU-01 board if that helps.

Having the same problem with my omgwtf trim pal board even connected every wire to one of the ports and no luck

Since I posted all this I haven't been able to fix it. I tried every port like you did, tested the controller with my Wii and it wasn't that. In the end I gave up. I may try with a new board one day unless somehow it starts working again.

Sorry man. Have you tried to bridge two pins 3 and 4 for ground?
This is for got rumble when you cut your board, but works. Try it before you buy new board.

Good Luck! :)
