Completely new modding and electronics!

So I wanted to try learning about modding and electronics. Can you guys help me by referring me to certain forums and places to start? I just read "AUX'S GUIDE TO ELECTRONICS FOR BABIES AND OTHER NOOBS" and have somewhat of an understanding about the content. Thanks!
