Cart Slot Relocation

Okay...so...there are two rows of pins where the cartridge slot was on the N64. The inside, where the pins in the slot went inside, and the ones on the outside where the expansion thing or whatever went. When relocating, do you put the wires on the inside one (which makes more sense) or the outside (wtf?)?

You Relocate it on the Outer Pins. When you were to put in a cartridge, the pin connector woultd touch the 56 pins from the expansion slot area then read the cartridge.

Uuuuuugh looks like I'll be rewiring quite a bit.

The way it worked originally was that the cart slot plugged into the expansion slot's pins which were soldered to the outer row.

You could just do a whole bunch of solder bridges between the pins if you did it on the wrong row.
