Cannot get my n64 to work connection trouble

I got an n64 2nd hand and saw it running on the guys lcd tv with an rf cable. I get it home and try it on the two I have and nothing..
So I get a sony trinitron 32inch for dirt cheap. It turns on and I auto tune and when it gets to channel 35/36 whilst tuning in goes black like it is going to work but nothing....I have changed the source on the Sony trinitron to all 4 different ones and again. I have tried the game he had working and nothing....what on earth am I doing wrong. ?? Thanks in advance meerkat

Same for my N64, was working on LCD with composite (CVBS, yellow connector).
Doesn't work anymore after moving it to another location.
No idea.
