Can I make a portable GC with my WiiÉ

Hey ModRetro,
This is my first post im new to this forum and new to modding. I have read the tutorials and watched some videos and I think I kind of understand some things.

My questin is will it be possible to create a portable GC with my Nintendo Wii? If so are there any guides? or can i follow the regular GC one?

It would be much easier for you to just get a Gamecube if you want a portable Gamecube.

So It would not be possible?
Il try trading my wii for like a few gcs or something lol if it is possible.
Do you know if I sell my wii what I should purchase to create my portable GC. jsut say i start from scratch.

ANother qucik question i have a psp 3000 can i use its screen or do i need to purchase a new one?

Thanks for reading

Scroll up. There's a thing called the Megasticky. Each section has one, and they're packed with useful links. There's a GC megasticky full of guides and info. For information about screens, go to the screens section and check its megasticky. Good luck!

Thank You very much!

I really feel like you don't know much about what you're doing, don't start doing struff you'll regret, like selling your wii to get a cube or anything.
Start small, don't get disapointed.

is there any reason you'd prefer a gamecube portable over a Wii portable?

To answer the original question, yes, you can make a functional gamecube portable out of a Wii, but it will be a bit different as it is in fact a Wii.

And unless you hack the Wii, you'll need to include a sensor bar to select the game using the Wiimote.
not entirely true. You could also build a classic controller into the unit. make a switch that swaps between CC and GCN controller functionality and you're good to go. However, homebrew hacking with bootmii is a great option
