Hey Community!
I've recently found my old GBA again, the black model:
And I noticed a problem with it.
When I insert a game, and turn on the device, the music plays and pressing the buttons causes the game to react. E.g I can boot up Pokemon and actually load my save game, but the display is completely distorted.
I'm lucky if I get any stripes on it at all, usually some coloured blocks appear or black beams across the screen. Tried multiple games, all suffer from it.
My guess is that some capacitor blew or something.
Anyone have any experience/insight on this?
