Ok so I have my battery hooked up to an AC/DC adapter dongle, switch, ti regulator, and the thing that slides into chipsets (forgot what its called) that fits a PS1 mobo. Alright now when i hook up a power source to the DC adapter it doesnt charge the battery. Im %95 sure its hooked up correctly. BUT im using a 7.5v DC in adapter... Maybe i fried the PCB? Does the PCB protect from over-powered charges? Maybe the wire I used doesnt give enough current to be usable? any other thoughts on why its not charging? :dah: ?

Is that a 3.7V single cell battery? If so, the PCB probably cut it off since 7.5V is really too much. If it's a two cell 7.4V battery, your adaptor doesn't have enough voltage. 7.4V is the nominal voltage, maximum is about 8.4V. Something around 8.5V should charge it. 9V is pushing it but should work. Ideally you would use a smart charger- stupid chargers or power supplies (basically the same) aren't a good idea but should work. The PCB's job is to keep it from exploding, but I wouldn't let it charge longer than necessary.

 something I would have never thought about
Its a 7.4 pack so ill try uping the input voltage. Thanks for the insight ill tell you how it goes b(^_\\d
