A noob need your help!

Thanks for all the great help! And I don't want to make that GC hobo edition! I didn't realize how much space everything would take. Could someone please tell me though how to build a protection circuit and how I am supposed to charge my batteries please.

PS: The potentiometer for the AV cables, what kind am I supposed to take? I saw in a catalog a whole bunch with diferrent Ohmn values and don't know which one to choose.

Also, do I need to keep the GC fan?

You don't need a potentiometer. NTSC GameCubes do not require such circuitry as far as I know. If you use a PAL cube, don't bother with a potentiometer. Stick with the passive circuitry.

Ha, I guess I just thought the GCp used a 3.3v line. I'm not sure about the fan. Check that link I posted.

I saw somewhere on the forum, the guy cut his heatsink and placed the fan on the heatsink. I have no clue how to give it power though...
