650nm 270mW Burning Laser

I made a laser. The driver is based around the lm317 and set to 420mAh. I'm estimating an output of 270mW. Anyway here it is.

Beta I was wearing a white shirt so it wouldn't easily burn through my shirt and I had the focal point set far infront of me so it wasn't focused at all on my body but yeah probably not the best way to do it but my camera was being a Sega where I had it so it was easiest to do it that way. i hope you were wearing some protective glasses....playing with a laser like that can cause instant damage to retina.........be careful....i always like lasers and have 2 or 3 100mw in a drawer...i just had to set a boundary to delay some experiences while i'm young and stupidity wins over intelligence....maybe in a few years....
