640x480 2.5" Screen

Has anyone seen this display:

Apparently it's 640x480...

If it is 640x480 though, it would be amazingly epic.

They do exist. Problem is that it is composite only input which means it is only capable of showing 240 lines of resolution. So it won't actually be displating 640x480.

Now this one actually will with a vga input . But it's 3.5"

I thought that composite could transmit up to 576i, which would mean it could show 640x480, couldn't it? Or am I just confused here?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is correct. Otherwise the expansion pack for the N64 would be near pointless because it's used to make certain games 480p.

LOL. For some reason I was thinking lines of resolution on a VCR.

But yea as mentioned composite has a max of 576 interlaced.

To many numbers floating around the noggin sometimes.

So this screen very well could be 640x480 then. Pixel Density FTW.
