The viewing area for both of these are: 97 x 56 mm
Screen 1:
Screen 2:
Screen 1 Info:
Has a thick plastic barrier before the screen. Plastic Black bezel.
Price (shipped): $31.39
My multimeter read ~195mAh (at 8.4v) on this screen.
No brightness or contrast control.
Screen 2 Info:
Just has an anti glare layer. Chrome looking bezel.
Price (shipped): $31.66 (I found one as low as $29.67)
My multimeter read ~175mAh (at 8.4v) on this screen and didn't fluctuate much as brightness was changed.
Has brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, etc. control.
Glare:
2 is on top, 1 is on bottom.
Motherboard:
2 is on top, 1 is on bottom.
Dimensions: Width x Height x Depth (Depth includes the actual screen, too)
Screen 1:
Dimensions: 71 x 61 x 9 mm
Screen 2:
Dimensions: 90 x 52 x 11 mm
The ribbon cables on both of these are very short and just long enough for the PCB to be behind the screen just like how it's packaged.
I prefer the second screen over the first because you can adjust the brightness and everything. In the picture, the second screen seems too green but I had default values in and I can change the Hue to make it look better. Resolution seems way better on the second, also, and there are no horizontal lines that appear on the first screen.
