To go along with ShockSlayer's wrist computer idea, could something like this be used to build a real Pip-Boy? I remember reading about a year ago on a cosplay forum about making a replica case for the Pip-Boy. Why couldn't this be used to go the one step further?

I found it takes up to 5.6 volts, (5 rechargeable batteries) but I'm reluctant to go higher. Is .4 volts that much more?

From testing the snes and my screen run fine from 4.8 volts (4 Ni-mh rechargeable batteries). It is wired to bypass the 7805 on the snes, and the input and output of the 7805 is bridged for audio. Will the snes be able to take 6 volts if using alkaline batteries in case the person I'm making it...

Designer noob is right just use 4 pieces of ribbon cable attached to each other. One for video, one for L, one for R, and ground. This (very crude and horrible shop by me) might also help if you can't solder to those pins. Then connect the other side to what screen you are using.
