I've come across an issue with a certain Wii motherboard. It's a post-2011 revision, I believe, not too old. But used. I have two working Wii disc drives and the motherboard refuses to accept either of them.
Connecting either drive with nothing in it causes the Wii to run normally but not be able to load any games of any sort (USB loading, virtual console, etc.). Putting a disc in the drive will cause the system to stop and give this error:
I don't know if it's a hardware issue or something messed up with the software, because I don't know where it's been in the past. Could anyone maybe shed some light on what might be going on? Thanks in advance.
