I've been trying to connect my TV to the stereo through the ipod dock for a while, and I just can't get it.
I've used this pinout to try and connect the dock to a headphone jack;

Now, I first got an adapter to do this for me, too bad my stereo needs to sense an ipod to take the signal.
Then, I tried soldering pins 1 to 2 and 21, 15 to 16 and 23 and 29 to 30, still no cigar, doesn't sense an Ipod
Thirdly I soldered pins 2, 3 and 4 to the headphone jack and plugged in my ipod to the port, plays what the ipod plays, doesn't get anything from the TV. (Although this used a rusty DMG headphone jack, which might have been broken, I'll check it again later)
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, I'm just so frustrated
