Too Much Resistance in Tact Switches?

I bought these tact switches
(because they're cheap)

And I'm not sure if they will be suitable for my needs.

Basically, after some Google searches, I've concluded that continuity is measured in ohms and made those diagrams. If they don't make sense, I'm trying to say:

Regular Tact = beep
Soft Tact = no beep :(

Will the soft tacts be suitable as buttons on a Gamecube portable if I pick out the ones with the least resistance?
Should I save myself the trouble and buy some on Mouser/Digikey?

Yes. Resistance that low should be fine for most controllers. The buttons contacts on the official GC controller itself are made of graphite and they have more resistance than that.
