Re: The Ion64 Worklog!

It works well this way, I just have make it more permanent by using hot glue. I'll just glue down the pins when I put it in my case.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog!

Relocating to those pins is a terrible idea. They WILL break off.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog!

That isn't the problem. You're just going to have to redo it. Also, I 6ish right now. I think? I don't really count.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog!

From my experience, those pins break off pretty easily, but I guess it's stable for a little bit. You just can't play catch with your portable like Banditpaw did.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog!

Its not a problem, I just wanted to relocate another motherboard with the relocation on the front and see which will work better in the case.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

Also, that case will look extremely to familiar to a select few people.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

Beta, dont about 10 of them look like that?

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

I love the button layout. Nice work dude! When do you estimate it will be done?

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

Thanks! It should be finished sometime this month, and at the latest, the middle of december. I also have some pics of my N64 board but I have to find the USB for my camera.

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

Wow, I missed THIS? I can't wait to see real photos of this. MyMixed, this is very good!

Re: The Ion64 Worklog! Update: 11/7/10!

Update Finally! I relocated the cartslot on the mobo, relocated the 5v trace, 3.3v, 12v, ground. Removed the power switch reset button, and controller ports. Next is to pull video from C16, audio from their caps, and U8 wire! Then cut! Pics:
