So far I have sanded down the SNES mini board and taken high resolution pictures of it.

I then mapped out the direct pinout of the cartridge slot.

That diagram will probably be unreadable to anyone else and I'd rather make a nicer one than explain it. More to come when I get another working mobo if you have one PM me.

EDIT: For the most part here is the pinout of the RGB chip
Pin 1, CPU pin 3(components)
Pin 2, n/a
Pin 3, CPU pin 4(components)
Pin 4, n/a
Pin 5, CPU pin 5(components)

You've made some nice progress I can see.
There's a lot to work with there.

Side note: We already have SNES Schematics.

Sweet! This is awesome! Tbh, this is immensely helpful to me. I've always been curious about what's under all that green, too. Also, brushed copper looks tight!

A more accessible link to that would be awesome. :p

Does anyone have these pictures of the snes mini mobo sanded? I have all other versions of the snes wiring diagrams except the snes mini and these sanded ones would be awesome. I know this is an old topic but if someone could show me where to get those so I can actually download them that would be awesome

thanks

Yeah I want em too. I nearly cried when I came back to this thread a few weeks ago and they were gone.

I think its hilarious how if you search Google for these pictures you can see the thumbnail or preview picture but its too small. Google then has the option to make it 15 times bigger or something like that and its not there. The feeling is like a thousand dollar bill just a hairs length away...

Well I got tired of searching for those pictures of the Snes mini so I stripped and sanded down my last Snes mini mobo. Anyways, I'll have the pictures up as soon as I can get a hold of a hi-res camera....
