Is there any chance of you writing a tutorial on using the ATMEGA8 to do the A/D conversion? That would be amazing if you could.

The credits of this awesome mod is not mine. There's a user called 'micro' on the excellent mods site Gamesx, and he deserves all credits. he wrote the code for the atmega8 and aswell for attiny24. The sensitive of the joystick is like a brand new original one, i like the result.
I'm pleased to share this with you. Here's a link of the thread, and on this thread you'll find a link with .PDF that micro's wrote, it's a step-by-step tutorial and i'm certain that everyone can do it, is not that hard
