Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog: On hold

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

Also just so you get a picture of what it will look like, I'm using ps1 triggers on the back and probably an external memory card slot.

Batteries: http://www.batteryspace.com/highpowerpo ... arate.aspx

Would I need the same charger and protection circuit with these as the "standard" batteries?

Also I am using a superpad for the controls.

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

8Ah? Why?
Can you even fit those in there? and are you willing to spend 80 bucks just on batteries?

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

Well obviously he's willing to pay for them if he's already chosen them, lol.

Yes, they will fit. Some people just want as much battery life as they can fit, and in such a large case, you can fit a LOT of batteries.

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

My wa-25 case came today! I will try to do some cutting on it later.

That case looks like it's built like a tank.

You should take a pic with size reference!

There, something hopefully everyone knows.

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

...what is that thing in the second pic?

Also, why did you put the C button deal on its side?

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

Well that didn't take long.

I always use too much epoxy filler and end up having to sand for like 25 hours, lol.

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

A and B buttons look uncomfortably low/far from the C-buttons.
Otherwise it looks great!

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

If I was you, I would have reversed the AB and C pads, I always put the controls as far up as I can so it is possible to put my shoulders on the top and not the back, and then I have space to hold the portable with my palms under the main face buttons.

Re: Nobble64 Mark 2 Worklog

Case is looking smooth.

I've been using ABS cement for strength and to fill in large holes, and I always apply way too much. I can definitely sympathize with how much sanding it takes. I'm going to be using a putty knife to smooth out my surfaces before they dry, so that it's already pretty smooth.

EDIT: Quoted wrong post.
