Is there an alternative to hot glue?

Is there an alternative to hot glue that does not melt under the heat of shipping? I dont want what happened to bentomo with his 64Boy happen to me at some point.

super glue, elmers glue, gorilla glue, tacky glue, epoxy, and many others. but hot glue is great since its fast and it isnt permanent.

That was my problem with the others. But hi-temp glue might work. Didnt occur to me that a different type of hot glue could work as a replacement for hot glue.
