Gen3 Portable Worklog

Hi Everyone!

Ive started a Gen 3 portable and decided to write worklog....
But im haveing trouble with geting the composite video working.
With wall power everything works great, but with batterys the screen is black and white and turns off randomly, all Ive hooked up is the 4 AA batterys and power for the screen.
Im even using the gen3s video cables
If anyone knows what to do please help

Ive ordered 2 liions and a charging circuits, and am working on the controls.
im using a six button first party controller, but im not using X,Y, or Z.(becuase of size)
Can anyone give me a diagram of the controller ports pins and their corisponding pins on the controller

You have protection circuits and smart chargers for the voltage you are using, right?

Ive tried that already, and I found zip
I need to wire thses pins

to the pins on the controller(left of the glob)
And yes I do have that

My controller seems different from every pinout i find, but I was able to figure it out.
I ordered a polycase,and wired up some controls.
all i need now are the batterys and the case.

also, anyone got some ideas for a name ?

Came with the sega.
The case arrived yesterday and ive started cutting the holes for the screen and cartrige slot. Ill have pics up soon

Really? I can think of quite a few games that don't require the 6-button controller but instantly become a lot more playable when using it, most of which are some of the consoles best games.
