I've just completed a little modification that brings back the correct level for PSG sound and also helps reduce distortion of the FM Channels. I know there exists a modification to replace the audio circuitry to get stereo sound but I have not heard if it brings back PSG audio and this modification I have done requires no additional parts (besides two wires).
