I'm trying to figure out if its possible to eliminate the slot and directly solder the expansion pin out to the leads on a cart.
The use case is that I have an EverDrive64 and am trying to make a standalone portable (no need to carry games). I'd like to hot wire the EverDrive64 into the expansion pinouts.
Is it possible to wire the expansion pin outs directly to a cart?
EDIT: It's looking like it is possible? 100 pins on a cart, 25 on each side. I'm guessing the respective pins exist on the expansion pin out...
Question: Is there any jumping happening in the cart slot to interface with the cart.
Question 2: will solder adhere to the cart pins?
