i have a nokia n810, and i really like it. however it is getting a little outdated, and im thinking about upgrading. i would love to get a n900, but i dont really need a phone, and they are much to expensive. i would like something with:
-bluetooth
-wifi (flash supporting web browser)
-open source linux based os (or windows, like the aigo)
-touchscreen
-bigger form factor. preferably 4" or larger widescreen, with 800x600 resolution, or higher
-hardware keyboard, or usable onscreen one, like the iphone one
-good battery life, my nokia will run for about 6 hours while browsing the web. i would like to get similar or greater performance.
-low'ish price. if its over 500$, dont post (usd)

i have looked at the smartQ devices, and also the archos players, but neither seem to fit my needs. ;)
tell me what i need. :awesome:

Open Pandora meets all the requirements except for screen resolution (its 800x480) but other than that it sounds just like what you need.

woah! really cool! but, a little too big. i need something i can stick in my back pocket and not think about. ;)

I think you want a UMFS.

The UMFS has a 4.5" 1080p multi-touch screen with HDMI-out (and in). 3 full sized USB 3.0 draft ports, IR, WiFi N, 3G & 4G, BT 3.0 + EDR, a slide-out / fold-out 92% full sized QWERTY keyboard, GPS, digital compass, accelormeter, altimeter, speedometer, rumble pack, built-in mic, 2 5.0 MP webcams (one on each side for web conferencing and photo taking - both record video), built-in 1080p projector viewable from 2 - 300 feet, laser keyboard, HD-FM tuner, AM tuner, police scanner, weatherband, Digital TV signal, FM board cast, a 640 GB 7200 rpm 2.5" hard drive, a multiformat card reader (SDHC, Mem Stick, CF, etc.), 4 GB of RAM, a 1.8 GHz Atom CPU, is a cell phone, a radio, a TV, a UMPC, a MID, a netbook, a PMP, a game console, VOIP phone, CB radio, shortwave, emulator, diving rod, and fishing rod. It also fits easily in the pocket. It's smaller than an iPod Nano 3G when all closed up - which is really weird because the 2.5" hard drive it has is actually bigger than that.

Oh, it runs Android 2.0 cupcake, Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10, Maemo, Windows Mobile 7, Windows 7, Symbian, Jailbroken / Unlocked iPhone OS X 3.2, WebOS, Blackberry, Solaris, and/or Mac OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard. (multiboot)

The UMFS, Unicorn Mythos Faux System, is only $249 - but I'll sell you mine for $99 - it's old and stupid now.

 :wtf: :hit:
