what is the best way to relocate the buttons? is it possible to do it with a simple pushbutton with just a positive and negative, or does it need four points like the tact switch from the screen?
any tact switch or pushbutton will work fine. Just solder to the corners where the original tacts are. Say, solder one wire to the upper left spot, then solder the other to the lower right. Diagonal.
