Alright, looking for one of these 2, anyone whose got one wanna part with it?

Since you seem to not mind clones, why not get a Retro Duo or FC Twin and kill two birds with one stone?

Well, I wanna start with an easy one, and powering 2 systems (with with a switch and crap) might be a little over the top. Is it a lot harder to do this than doing an SNES, also, apparently there are 4 layers to this thing, and I already have someone selling me a super slimmed down SNES (someone at BH) so I think il tackle this one, then maybe a RetroDuo or an N64 or gamecube.

Also, if im not mistaken, the retro duo only has about 50% of the SNES/NES titles playable nicely.

Nonononononono, it's a lot better then that. It's more like 98% compatibility, and only doesn't work with 10-20 games. Most games run perfectly.

humm, well, it's it a lot bigger than the SNES and NES?

The SNES half is significantly smaller than a SNES mini, and the NES half is much smaller than a real NES, though not the smallest NOAC around. Most of the switching wiring and stuff is already done for you; you just have to connect the boards together right.

Ok, well link me to an RetroDuo or FC twin for a good price, and I might just do that. Got a good design for the 2 cart slots :)

i have one of those N64 controller-shaped NOAC systems. it has a bunch of builtin games and a 60 pin famicon slot (though you could easily change it out for a 72 pin nes slot)

PNP Games: flax webstore, but the only place I know of in Canada. Also, has an eBay store. http://stores.channeladvisor.com/pnpgames

The Retro Duo has better compatibility and accuracy. It also has s-video out (SNES side only) but that doesn't really matter for a portable. It is ugly and has flax build quality but that doesn't really matter for a portable. It's also about $10 more. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you.
