Looking to buy a grey MGB (not a silver one, one that is styled like the original DMG)

I was hoping for somewhere around $30 - $40 shipped

Those are boxed, though. Silver MGBs go for about $15 on eBay, $30-$40 isn't that ridiculous. Is it?

Those are very rare. I've only seen two people with one and that was bibin and KOM-Goteking on BH. KOM is in Asia (japan?) and they're more common over there than in the US. The only way you'll get one for that price is if you find an idiot who doesn't know what they have.

Not as rare as they're given credit for, honestly.

I've had more than one, never paid more than $10, never held onto 'em, they're not really all that special.

It's the mid level of rarity when it comes to Gameboy Pockets.
There are the regular coloured ones,(Silver, black, red, etc.)($5-20), the low-mid ones, (clear)($20-30), mid-high ones, (Purple, famitsu, etc.)($50-100) and the very rare ones like the Toys r us Ice Blue and Astro Boy edition.(Up to $450 new)
I just hope I remember all of this correctly.
