So, first of all i know it wont, but i just want to know something, because im afraid of testing it. So i dont have an on/off switch, so it turns on when it gets power. So my battery pack got an built in on/off switch. its solderd to the gc, so when i turn on the battery pack the gamecube will turn on aswell of course. so when the battery pack is on "off" and i plug in the gc original power supply, what will happen? will it just get the power from the power supply? and what will happen to the battery pack? if something bad will happen, how can i make that i still can play off wall power with the battery built in? if it wont work i have to make the battery external

Please read the stickies on how to properly wire batteries and power your portable, also check out the general electronics board for info on this.

here is nothing wrong with directly wiring batteries to the GC but i assume you have the batteries wired to custom regulators or the original GC regulator power board...
if you have the batteries wired to the powerboard with a switch to kill the supply, then plugging in the original power brick to the power board with the switch in the off position is harmless since no power will flow to the batteries thru the switch in an off position...

if the switch was left on, then something bad could happen
